Development & delivery at CNYT Labs

CodeGemacht. Turn a good plan into working software.

A plan alone does not change a workflow. CodeGemacht, German for code made real, describes how we at CNYT Labs develop software step by step, review it with you and bring it into everyday use.

// An example, step by step

An enquiry becomes a clear workflow.

We continue the example from CodeGedacht: the team needs to handle customer enquiries, responsibilities and documents in one place. The initial scope is agreed. Now it becomes an application that we can try out together.

The first workflow becomes usable.

We build the agreed foundations: login, data structure and enquiry handling. We make the central workflow usable step by step, with the focus on the functions agreed for the first version.

An initial version

  1. Sign in Access the workspace
  2. Create an enquiry Enter details in one place
  3. Assign Make responsibility visible

Does it fit your working day?

You try the workflow with suitable examples. This may reveal a missing field, an unclear view or a step that could be simpler. We discuss the feedback and agree on adjustments to the planned scope together.

Feedback becomes specific

  1. Feedback The deadline needs to be visible immediately.
  2. Adjustment Add the deadline to the overview.
  3. Review again Try it out with the team.

The exceptions matter too.

Before launch, we check the agreed functions and typical error cases. What happens when required details are missing? Do access permissions work? Can existing data be imported as planned? The checks are tailored to the project.

Ready for launch?

  1. Features Check the agreed workflows.
  2. Permissions Test roles and access.
  3. Data Check imports and data entry.

The software enters everyday use.

We support the rollout and explain how to use the application. You receive the agreed access credentials and documentation. We agree whether you operate the solution yourself or CNYT Labs handles technical operation and ongoing support.

From project to operation

  1. Handover Receive access and documentation.
  2. Getting started Help the team get to know the application.
  3. Further development Review new requirements together.

Software you can put to work.

CodeGemacht focuses on making the agreed solution useful in everyday work. That includes understandable features, a coordinated rollout and clear responsibilities for operation. We discuss and plan new requirements together.

A usable application

The agreed features support the intended workflow.

A supported launch

Your team receives the agreed introduction and help getting started.

Clear operating responsibilities

Access, support and next steps are agreed together.

What happens if our requirements change?

We review what has changed and how it affects the solution. We discuss additions, priorities and the work involved before extra work begins. That keeps further development clear and understandable.

Who coordinates development?

CNYT Labs coordinates the technical implementation. When additional expertise is needed, we bring in suitable specialists. Your point of contact and overall technical responsibility remain clear throughout.

Good development starts with good questions.

You know what should become easier, but do not yet know what the software could look like? CodeGedacht shows how we lay the foundations for development together.
